Day 16 Bunker Renovation, 'Chances Are' 100% with the luck we've had that we will receive some rain tonight!

Chances are we will receive some rain tonight.  For our sake I hope not.  A little soothing music to go through the blog this evening.

Sorry about the picture below.  We completed our work toward sunset and light was depleted when I finally got around to getting the shot.  I will get you a better picture tomorrow.  The staff worked a great deal of the day on #7.    They also cleaned out the drainage trenches from #4, sodded the banks of #4, place zoysia on the approach of #6 and cleaned out the bunkers of #8 before Kye began his work this morning.  If we are able to work tomorrow, we expect to get the left side of holes 4 and 6 completed.  If we are able to work Saturday, we will begin our work on #5.  We will also have to clean out #13 on Friday in preparation for Kye's work on Saturday.

Kye completed some minor work on #4 and moved into #8.  He has a little more work on #8 and will  then move to #13 if we do not get too much rain overnight.

So, where are we in the project.
Bunkers completed  (includes the 4 on #14).          15
Bunkers under construction.                                   9
Bunkers waiting to be renovated                            13
Total Bunkers including the practice                       37

#7 is COMPLETE!

The staff laying the new fairway approach zoysia sod that covers part of the front bunker.

Digging out the right bunker of #8.

Kye working in the left bunker on #8.  Notice the new machine we are using.  About 1/2 the size of the other unit.  This will allow Kye to work in and out of the smaller bunkers in the last 1/3 of the shaping of the project.

#8 left bunker complete.

#8 right bunker near completion.
