Day 13 Bunker Restoration, JUMP AROUND

A little slow today but work was accomplished in a number of ways.  We did have to jump around a little bit today because of wet conditions.  Not necessarily the way Robin Williams and his kids did in 'Mrs Doubtfire' above.  I hope you don't mind some of the levity, I'm trying to take my mind of the wet conditions and the delays they are creating.  Every time we get significant rain, the dirt areas exposed(bottom of bunkers), especially the areas that accumulate water take forever to dry down in our cooler than normal temperatures.  We could not work on #4 or #6 and jumped over to #7 today since Kye just finished the right bunkers this morning and they were drier.

The staff cleaned up most the area of #18 today putting the final pieces of the outflow drain into the rough.  The mud and sod were placed back in the trench line on the right bunker that crossed the fairway.  Sand was completed on the right bunker as well.  All bunkers were compacted.  We will finish the sod on #18 on Tuesday and this hole will be complete!

#7 two right bunker were trenched and the staff began to edge and remove the spoils.  I told the staff to expect to stay until a majority of the work is completed on the two right bunker of #7 on Tuesday.  Hopefully the left bunker will dry and will be ready to be trenched as will #6 and #4 over the next couple of days.  If we stay away from the rain until Friday, I hope to have #4 left side and #6 left side completed.

The staff also removed the sod and sand from the bunkers on #5.  We will be doing the right side of #4 tomorrow and #8 on Wednesday.

Kye finished his work on #7 day and moved to #5.  We expect him to finish #5 on Tuesday and move to #4 right side Tuesday afternoon.  He should finish #4 right side Tuesday.  We will change out to a smaller trackhoe on Wednesday and he will begin to shape #8.  Depending on the weather late  in the week, he might be able to get to #13 and complete those 3 bunkers by Saturday.

Jason mowed around the bunker on #16 and #9 today.  We stayed off the banks to allow the roots get a little stronger .
