Day 11 Bunker Restoration, Let your imagination run wild

Day 11 started out with some rain drops but a great deal of work was accomplished.  Sorry to say, I only took a couple of pictures so you will  have to let your imagination run wild.  A much better idea would be to come out and visit us tomorrow, play some golf, check out the work and have some dinner and a cocktail or two in the clubhouse and see for  yourself what is happening!

The staff dug our the left side bunkers of #7 in preparation for Kye to begin his shaping work.  A great deal of work was accomplished on #18 today.  The bunkers were trenched with just a little bit more on the right side bunker to complete.  The left bunker has drainage and gravel placed in it ready for our urethene spray treatment(Klingstone). The drainage was started on the left approach bunker and will be completed on Thursday.  We expect to get the two left bunkers completed by the end of the day and hold an outside shot at getting the complete complex sodded and done by the end of the day with rain possibly arriving on Friday.  If it does not rain on Friday, we will be removing the sand from #5 bunkers and hopefully our staff will be moving to #6 to complete this bunker.  The staff will be removing sod and sand from around the right bunker on #7 in the morning in preparation for Kye to move there by mid-day.

Kye completed the left bunker on #4 this morning and moved to #7 after lunch.   He has a few hours on the left of #7 and will probably begin his work on the right side in the afternoon.  If we do not receive rain Friday morning, I would expect him to have 7 complete by mid-day on Friday.  #5 will be in his sights possibly on Saturday.
