The staff tore out the bunkers on hole #3. We also started work on the left approach bunker on #5. We wanted to begin work on the other two bunkers of #5 but they are still too wet. Too much shade and a little less drying available sow we moved to the 8th hole which drains better and receives more wind and sun. The left approach bunker on #5 is complete except for the outflow drain pipe, some sod work in this area and some additional irrigation repairs and add on that we are making to this area to improve the turf conditions. We have some additional sodding to complete on the left bunker of #8 and a little more sand to add to the bunker. We hope if the rain holds off long enough on Wednesday to complete the right bunker on #8 as well.
Kye finished the 13 bunker complex on Monday and work on #3 bunkers. The left bunker is complete and if the rain holds off long enough on Wednesday, he should hopefully get this complex complete as well. He will move to #17 as soon as the weather will allow.
