Day 20 Bunker Restoration Project, El Birdos and ' I Wish It Would Rain' NOTTTTT!!!!!!

The staff were able to get nine days of work in a row completed until rain, yes, can you believe it it rained here in St. Louis interrupted today's efforts.  Well at least the El Birdos didn't let a little rain get in their way. Hopefully they can keep it going again tonight!

We were able to complete both bunkers on #8 yesterday.  We have a little irrigation repair to make and have a few pieces of zoysia sod that need to be laid.  It sounds like more rain is coming overnight but if we are able to work, we will tear out the bunkers for Kye to work on #17.  He has all but completed #3.

Bunkers Completed                           20(Including 4 at #14)
Bunkers torn out and or shaped         10
Bunkes waiting for tear out                 7

We've lost 8 working days in the first 28 days of the project.  We intend to work 6 days of week on the project but have only been able to work 2 of the 4 weekends so far.  More rain tonight could push us to losing both Friday and Saturday.

The staff are chasing leaves across the golf course today.  Literally chasing them as they try to blow and grind them up before they get loose again from the high wind we are experiencing.
