Twenty two years in the golf course business and have never mowed greens on the first of February until 2012. I think February 24th was the earliest that I can remember. I have not worked at Country Club operations my entire career but normally the greens are potentially too frozen, soft and or wet to mow this early in February but the mild winter has been very interesting to say the least.
Also the first year that I have been able to change holes on a regular basis during the winter.
